SOLD OUT: Bristol’s Climate Change Manager on 2030 Targets

July 25, 2019 at 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Bristol was the first city in Europe to state that we have a climate emergency and we have now set a goal to be carbon neutral by 2030. But what does ‘carbon neutrality’ mean, and how will we do this? What are the implications for our transport, heating and power? What about food and waste in the city, and the associated emissions? How can ordinary citizens get involved?

Alex Minshull is Bristol’s Sustainable City and Climate Change Manager. He is now managing Bristol’s response to the climate emergency.

This is your opportunity to come and hear what Bristol City Council is doing, ask questions, and find out how to get involved.

Clifton Climate Action will be hosting the event at Clifton Library, 7:30pm, Thursday 25th of July. This is a free event and all are welcome.
