Free Talk: Insulating a Period Home

Clifton Climate Action are delighted to be able to bring two fantastic speakers who are both experts on insulating your home.

Mitchell and Dickinson offer crafted insulation solutions for period homes including loft insulation, advanced secondary glazing and draught proofing, the three of which together can reduce heat loss by 40% in a detached property and 50% in a mid-terrace property. Tom Coles from M and D will discuss the opportunies and challenges associated with keeping an old home warm.

Mike Andrews is managing director of the C.H.E.E.S.E. (Cold Homes Energy Efficiency Survey Experts) project; an award-winning, Bristol based initiative that can show you where your home is losing the most heat through the use of thermal-imaging cameras. He will talk about what his organisation has done for people across Bristol and what they hope to do going forward.
