November 13, 2022 at 10:30 am 11:30 am

In ‘Only Hummingbirds Fly Backwards’, twins Ronnie and Jake have their lives dramatically changed following an accident that leaves Jake brain injured. With secrets from their past beginning to resurface and the strain on Ronnie’s relationship with her sister-in-law and her own marriage, the novel is a celebration of love and the human spirit. The novel is set in Bristol and Brittany in two time frames, the 1960s and 1980s.

Rosie Parker is the pen name for Bristolian writer and poet Rosemary Dun. She’s had a portfolio career in physiotherapy,  rehabilitation and disability research before returning to her first love, writing. She now holds a MA in Creative Writing and is a tutor on the M.A. creative writing course at the Open University.
