Charles Dowding talks all about the no dig gardening method and how it is good for the soil, saves time, produces fewer weeds and healthy harvests. He draws upon 40 years of experience, growing in four market gardens with different soils. He also does many comparisons of growth between dig and no dig and you will see 10 years of results of his trial beds.
Charles has written 14 books over the years, recently No Dig, it’s the culmination of his life’s work.
Charles is on a mission to spread the knowledge of how to grow your own vegetables
in the easiest, most natural way. He speaks to children as much as to adults. His book
The Children’s No Dig Gardening Book published by Welbeck (now Hachette) offers advice and encouragement to inspire children to grow.
