Free Talk: Wilding Your Clifton Garden

September 26, 2019 at 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

In 2019 we face a biodiversity crisis comparable and linked to that of climate change. We are losing species at a phenomenal rate and ecologists tells us that cities are now the best nature reserves we have.

On September 26th Clifton Climate Action is delighted to host Neill Talbot from Avellana Ecology, an ecological consultancy based in Bristol. Neill provides survey work, training, research and advice on ecology to groups of all sizes in all sectors. Local resident Susie Parr will also be speaking – she has recently introduced some ‘wilding’ aspects into the garden that she shares with her neighbours and has kindly agreed to come and talk to us about what she did.

They will each be talking about what we can all do to help improve Clifton’s biodiversity, particularly those of us with gardens.

This is a great opportunity to hear from great speakers and get all of your biodiversity questions answered.

Clifton Climate Action will be hosting the event at Clifton Library. Doors will open at 7 and the event itself will start at 7:30. This is a free event and all are welcome.
