Herbal First Aid – an illustrated talk by Helen Gray

Helen is a qualified medical herbalist who will discuss and demonstrate the uses and benefits of some very common garden plants and weeds and how they can be made into teas, creams and ointments. Tea tasting will be available. There are many everyday plants in our gardens that can be used for life’s little emergencies, from cuts and grazes to an upset stomach. Learning about our environment and making our own medicines is empowering, easy and fun. And better for the environment.

The talk starts at 7pm and the bar opens at 6.30pm
