Hailed as a 'standout literary thriller’ by the FT and book of the summer in publications ranging from Grazia to Women and Home, and The Literary Review to Mail on Sunday, the novel was thriller of the month in the Sunday Times, which called it 'a female Talented Mr Ripley'.
Charlotte Philby worked for eight years as a columnist, editor and reporter for the Independent and was shortlisted for the Cudlipp Prize for her investigative journalism at the 2013 Press Awards. Recently hailed, 'A rising star of British thriller writing' by the Sunday Times, she is a former contributing editor and feature writer at Marie Claire, and has written for publications including the New Statesman, The Guardian and Inside Time. Charlotte has three children and lives in Bristol. The End of Summer is her fifth novel.
