Secrets and Lies
Wednesday Matinee
Wed 28th May 2025 2.00pm Clifton Library

Following the death of her adoptive parents, a successful young black optometrist establishes contact with her biological mother -- a lonely white factory worker living in poverty in East London. Secrets & Lies is a Palme d’Or–winning tour de force of sustained tension and catharsis that lays bare the emotional fault lines running beneath everyday lives.
Thanks to a generous donation we are able to continue showing our fortnightly matinees. There is no charge for this event and there will be free tea and coffee available but you are welcome to contribute.

28th May 2.00pm - until 4.00pm (120 mins)
