George Marshall is an activist, social researcher and communications specialist, working at all levels from grass roots protests movements to senior positions in Greenpeace and the Rainforest Foundation. He has held consultancies for the UN, World Bank and 17 governments. He founded the Oxford-based communications charity Climate Outreach, and is the author of Don’t Even Think About It: Why Our Brains Are Wired to Ignore Climate Change, listed by Esquire as one of the '15 essential books on climate change’. He is Adjunct Fellow of the University of Queensland Department of Psychology.
