Marking the 80th Anniversary of the end of World War Two
David Parker: The West at War 1939 - 1945
Tue 15th Apr 2025 7.00pm Clifton Library

Remarkably, some amateur movie makers captured this ‘people’s war’ on film and many of their films have found their way into television programmes made by David Parker. To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two David will be showing film clips from some of those programmes that tell the stories on the home front and in the theatres of conflict in Europe and the Far East, ordinary lives lived through the most extraordinary times.
The talk starts at 7pm and the bar opens at 6.30pm

15th April 7.00pm - until 8.30pm (90 mins)
