The Friends of Clifton Centre and Library (FoCCaL) has announced how proceeds from the 2025
Clifton LitFest are boosting reading and literacy projects across Bristol.
Run entirely by volunteers, Clifton LitFest reinvests its profits into initiatives that
inspire a love of reading. This year FoCCaL has donated £5,000 to Bristol Libraries as part
of the city's National Year of Reading, funding a new 'Book Bingo' reading challenge for
adults, running alongside the Summer Reading Challenge for children. Participants can sign up
online or at their local library and win a £100 book token by completing their card before
31 December 2026.
