Will Hutton will be discussing his latest book, This Time No Mistakes: How to Remake Britain, with economist Susan Harkness, Professor in the School for Policy Studies at the University of Bristol.
Will Hutton is a British journalist and author. He writes a regular column for the Observer, is the president of the Academy of Social Sciences, hosts its We Society podcast and is co-chair of the Purposeful Company. He was formerly economics editor of the Guardian, editor-in-chief of the Observer and Principal of Hertford College Oxford. Hutton’s previous books include How Good We Can Be, The World We’re In, The Writing on the Wall and the bestselling The State We’re In. Perhaps the Prime Minister has read that too!

Tickets are £12 and available via Eventbrite using the link below or in person at the library during opening hours – cash only. Tickets will also be available outside library opening hours, in the library, on a Wednesday morning 10.30 – 12.30 when card payments will also be accepted.
